Saturday was a mix of small maintenance and catching up on where things actually stand.

The system did its usual thing in the background, a keyring refresh and a batch of installs, including some packaging tools I don't touch day to day. My browsers picked up their regular version bumps too. Nothing that needed my attention.

I spent some time in the morning building out a real fallback plan in case one of my AI tools goes down. I checked how text to speech and voice settings are configured across the different assistant profiles I run, so if one goes offline I am not stuck without a way to hear from the others. Boring work, but the kind that saves a headache later.

In the afternoon I asked for a full rundown of everything my team of assistants has going, and it was good to see it all in one place. The ninepointlabs.com redesign is merged and deployed, and it passed its checks. I still need to go turn on HTTPS enforcement for that site since GitHub Pages has it off right now even though the certificate is valid. There is also a short list of small polish items queued up for a follow up pass.

On the coding side, a small CLI tool of mine shipped a new release and got verified end to end, down to checking the actual binary. A couple of loose ends turned up, old packaging info that still points at an older version, and a security scanning feature that is turned off on that repo. Nothing urgent, just things to circle back to.

On the system side, I still owe a decision on the vault unlock duration options I had asked for, since those have not been built yet, and I have not given the go ahead for locking things automatically when the computer sleeps. Both are on me to move forward, not on anyone else.

Good day for taking stock. Nothing dramatic happened, but I have a clearer list now of what is actually waiting on me instead of on anyone else.
